STUDIO: THINKWELL (LA)

ROLE: I performed character rigging, CFX, and animation on this project, using MAYA. Remote work.

NOTE: Since 2022 this Harry Potter themed experience has been recreated in multiple locations in the USA and internationally.


"billboard awards" LIVE VISUALS - BEYONCE

STUDIO: DIRT EMPIRE (NYC)

ROLE: MAYA for all polygonal modelling, keyframe animation, look dev, CFX. I contributed to 3D VFX, 3D motion graphics. Compositing with AFTER EFFECTS.

NOTES: This song acheived 5x Platinum sales! The first 2:30 shows the video that was projected during the performance. In the live broadcast they mostly showed close ups on Beyonce and had lots of cuts, so I made this edit to allow you to see the whole video/dance as it was performed live.

STUDIO: CREO COLLECTIVE (NYC)

ROLE: AI Director, Editor, VFX using VEO, Kling, Seedance for video, Imagen, Nano Banana, and Flux for still images, After Effects for editing, color correction, and motion graphics. Remote work.

NOTE: These videos were authored for display on 10 foot tall screens. Each video played simultaneously on a different screen as part of a trade show display for Upshop, a comprehensive suite of tools to manage a grocery store chaiin.

STUDIO: ASCEND STUDIOS (Orlando)

ROLE: Lead 3d and post artist. I performed look dev and lighting using REDSHIFT in CINEMA 4D, 3d modeling rigging layout and animation with CINEMA 4D, post with AFTER EFFECTS. Remote work.

NOTE: This is a test render for a project that was rendered in 360° panoramic perspective at 12,000 pixel horizontal resolution split seamlessly between four 4k videos, for display on a fully immersive video cave at the headquarters of Burns & McDonnell, a multi-billion dollar engineering and commercial architecture company with 13,000+ employees.

STUDIO: 1stAVE MACHINE (NYC)

ROLE: MAYA generalist. I 3d modelled and tracked the garlic and onion pieces for the fluid sim to interact with. I did look dev and lighting, of the 3d fluids. I also modeled, surfaced, lit, and animated the 3d products. I contributed to NUKE rotoscoping and compositing.

NOTE: They actually shot onions and garlic with a gun. This project was made to be displayed on a video billboard in Times Square NYC.


"MAKE.BELEIVE" times square VIDEO BILLBOARD - SONY

STUDIO: TRANSISTOR STUDIOS (NYC)

ROLE: 3d modelling, look dev, lighting, using MAYA and PHOTOSHOP for textures

 "PEGA WORLD LAS VEGAS experience" - Pega systems

STUDIO: BRICKYARD VFX (Boston)

ROLE: Character and prop rigging, animation, and mocap integration using MAYA. Remote work.

NOTE: This unique 3D forced perspective experience added an exciting new dimension to the 2023 Pega World conference in Las Vegas.


"The ARK" Dome Film - the LAB at panorama festival

 STUDIO: DIRT EMPIRE (NYC)

ROLE: I modelled and did look development of the 3d head

NOTE: This 12 minute long piece was displayed on a 60’ immersive dome at a 3 day music festival in NYC in 2018 and viewed by over 40,000 people during the event. This is an excerpt.


"Donor Wall" - childrens Hospital of atlanta

STUDIO: LUNAR NORTH (Detroit)

ROLE: Using MAYA, I rigged and animated 5 woodland creatures with 8 unique animations each, and did the look development in the UNREAL engine. I made previsualization of the interactive installation using AFTER EFFECTS. Remote work.

NOTE: Hospital donors can sponsor a life-size virtual creature to populate a prominently located video display.


"THE DROP" - IAC VIDEO WALL CONTENT

STUDIO: DIRT EMPIRE (NYC)

ROLE: I modelled and did look development of the 3d skull, and did the animation, lighting, and compositing. The skull is a replica of a real object that is used in another shot.

NOTE: This stop-animation piece was shot frame by frame with DSLR's and composed at 8000 pixels wide for the video wall at the IAC Center in Chelsea, at the time the largest in the world at over 120' long. This clip is only the middle section of the actual final piece that was installed, and only includes the part with 3d CGI, which is the finale of the 4 minute long piece.

"Waterfall" times square video billboards - Zyrtec + Walgreens

 STUDIO: TRANSISTOR STUDIOS (NYC)

ROLE: 3d modelling, look dev, lighting, using MAYA and PHOTOSHOP for textures. Integrating fluid sim data.

NOTE: This project was authored in various resolutions for display on oddly shaped custom video billboards in Times Square NYC. The footage of the actual billboards was taken by me with an old Android phone, sorry about the quality.
